About South West Lacrosse
South West women’s lacrosse is run by a small committee of volunteers dedicated to the growth and performance of lacrosse in the South West. It is funded by the National Women’s Playing Committee, a sub-committee of the English Lacrosse Association.
The geographical spread of the region includes schools and clubs roughly triangulating from Birmingham to Southampton and Falmouth. We also have Welsh clubs competing in the senior league. The South West Committee are always eager to get feedback from players in the region so if you have any comments or questions please send them to firstname.lastname@example.org and someone will get back to you. In the mean time, thank you for taking to time to look at our website and we hope see you at a regional event soon!
Success for the South West!
Lacrosse in the South West is going from strength to strength with 12 clubs participating in the senior women’s league in the 2013/14 season, and Bristol Bombers Lacrosse Club taking the title of South West League Champions 2013/14. The Senior Regional teams both performed brilliantly at the Regional tournament in March 2014, the A team narrowly lost out to the South East, and the B team won their pool.
The Junior Regional teams did one better and both A & B teams won their respective pools!
